Welcome statement
On behalf of the Doonan Family and our consigners we would like to thank everyone for checking out our 10th year of having online sales. This past decade has been humbling and an honor to be a part of our customers show careers, lifes, and production experiences. We have been through many droughts, floods, heart breaks, economic transitions, and bad luck over the past 14 years in the cattle industry but the 1 thing that has remained the same is that the cattle are only as good as the people behind them and we are so fortunate to bring yet another set to the table backed by some of the greatest families and friends we have in the industry. In this sale you will see the last of some lineages and the first of many others! Its such an exciting time at Doonan Cattle company as we have a generational turn over from a two donor program, PC Smart Chic & JM Ms Bailey to a thriving young cow herd of daughters and grand daughters of the cows that brought us this far. The barn is open at all times to view cattle and we even have lights now. However, if you would like to see the cattle cleaned up please schedule a visit if not the gate is open and the blue ear tags are Identifier to look for! We will 100% stand behind our cattle and will guarantee them to be fertile either through live calves or viable embryo production. ALL LIVE LOTS include the first breeding service to be performed by Doonan Cattle Company. We provide feeding consultation, clipping, hoof trimming, and breeding services throughout duration of your female. We just ask that customers be respectful of our family and program time but we will be here every step of the way that is needed.
All lots are up to date on shots, have been wormed with dectomax injectable and synthanic oral and shall be tattooed and bangs vaccinated before headed to their new home.
Charolais lots in the sale have been tested for Progressive Ataxia or are free of it by pedigree and we will 100% guarantee that there is no affected females in the sale. No genetic testing for PA, TH, PHA, DS has been performed on any of the cross bred females to determine carrier status but they are free from being affected.
Doonan Cattle Company is reserving the right to 2 successful flushes of at least 6 viable embryos per flush at the buyers convenience and sellers cost on all female lots in the sale. Call for any questions or concerns. As we have the mothers to these lots we do not have plans to flush these females but it is a way to insure access to our genetics in the event we lose their mothers or cannot recreate a pedigree for whatever reason. We do hope that the buyers build lasting cow herds with these females and allow us the opportunity to market the offspring in years to come!
There is no guarantee of disposition, soundness, or quality but if there is any problems we will do our best to stand behind the cattle and ensure you are happy with your purchase.
