Welcome statement
Welcome to the 2nd Annual Friends of Hancock County Poss-ABILITIES Benefit Sale! We are entering our third year of the program and are happy to report that it continues to grow by leaps and bounds every year! In 2024, we had over 47 youth involved, were able to give out our first $1,000 in scholarship funds and kept our program completely free because of support like yours!
The program is a 501c3 non-profit, inspired by President Emily Meckel’s daughter Emery. After being born with Down Syndrome and Schizencephaly, it inspired her to not only raise her daughter with livestock but look for ways to create a safe interactive livestock experience for other youth in the community who otherwise would not have the opportunity.
We have big plans for the future and we couldn’t do it without our incredible community supporters, sale consignors and each of you!
