Sale information

Welcome statement

There’s never been a more exciting time to be in the cattle industry and try to replace herd numbers with young cattle. There’s several heifers that we would love to keep half interest in, but the fact is we can’t keep them all (as much as we wish we could) and want to see people get the most out of their investments. We will work with anyone that would like to keep their heifer here and find the best possible solution that fits both parties needs and terms for the future. This set has A LOT of variety and cattle that excel in many ways. We are staying true to our commitment of always offering our best in hopes to helping others build their herds and to maintain the quality of each sale. The amount of success these cattle have had each year has been very humbling to our operation and family. Our true passion is working with all Junior members and families, but also making connections that turn into life long friends and partners.

We love great cow families and maternally driven livestock that can perform in the pasture as well. In demand semen will also be available in this sale. We encourage everyone to make the drive to Glencoe, but understand if you cannot. Do not hesitate to call with questions you may have!

All heifers are up to date on vaccinations and calf hooded. Another round of vaccinations, worming, and tattooing will happen the morning after the sale. All registration papers will be transferred once the calf has been paid in full.

Guarantee: We do guarantee fertility (either a live calf or an embryo) however disposition, quality, soundness, etc. are the responsibility of the buyer. All cattle are property of the new owner once the sale is complete, meaning if they are left here and something unfortunate were to happen to the heifer, it is the buyer’s responsibility.

Feeding & Showing Terms: The following costs are not designed for us to make money, but rather help cover our expenses. If you would like for your heifer to stay at our operation, cost per month will be $1,200 per head. If you would like to stall your heifer with us at shows it will be $200 per day, per head.

Shipping: This is ultimately the responsibility of the buyer, T/R Cattle will be happy to assist anyone that needs help finding transportation for their purchase.

Retained Interest: Although this is RARELY EVER called upon, there are a few specific lots that we are retaining interest in. This option has only been used on two donors over the past 9 years. It is still important that T/R Cattle has some sort of avenue for improving genetics for generations to come. However, if it is a problem, we certainly understand and will do our best to accommodate for anyone interested in owning 100% of the heifer.

Thank you so much for taking time to view our Annual Fall Summer and Fall Born Sale!
