Welcome statement
On behalf of the Kentucky 4-H Foundation and the Kentucky 4-H Livestock Judging Program, welcome to the first-ever Building A Brand sale. This sale was created as a way for the livestock industry to come together and support the Kentucky 4-H Livestock Judging Team as they travel this Fall in preparation for the National 4-H Livestock Judging Contest. This program provides invaluable experiences and learning opportunities for our 4-H members with many going on to pursue careers in many aspects of the livestock industry such as veterinary medicine, agri-business, and animal science—often crediting 4-H as the foundation of their success. As our team travels this Fall, they will gain hands-on experience in animal evaluation and care, communication, and industry skills. In addition to knowledge and responsibility, participants build the confidence and character that serve young people throughout their lives.
