Welcome statement
We couldn’t be more excited for our inaugural offering of the Farrer Land & Livestock “Heifers on the Heartland” sale. We have put in a lot of time and effort to be able to make this sale something that will be around for years to come. It’s our goal to offer functional cattle that will compete at all levels but also go home and generate progeny for our customers. This group is stacked with cow families and well known matings in the industry that have seen success across all levels.
We reserve the right to refuse any or all bids. Heifers are sold with no guarantee of fertility, disposition, soundness, quality, etc. Animals are the responsibility of the buyer once the animal leaves the property. No heifer will be picked up, nor registrations transferred until full payment has been received. All cattle must be picked up by November 1st or will be charged $15/day. We encourage purchasing insurance on your purchase through your respective agent after the sale for further protection.
Any heifer that will be residing here to be prepared for a show will be charged $25/day at the barn. In addition, a $100/day (including travel days) charge will apply if we have to take them to the show. All accounts will be billed on a per month basis. If you may be planning to do this, please reach out to make prior arrangements or with questions.
We also like to be disposable to our customers for any questions that they may have with their calf - that may be breeding, making feeding decisions, clipping, fitting, etc.
If a heifer sells for less than $5,000 the buyer must pay for any additional papers over 1 set if heifers are able to be dual registered.
If we need to travel more than an hour and a half, expenses will be incurred for services.
