THIS SALE WILL UTILIZE FINAL CALL AFTER A PERIOD OF EXTENDED BIDDING
Welcome to the 12 th annual Top Hat Farms Ladies of the Harvest Sale. This year, after many
years of looking and breeding for the right Angus genetics, we have added some purebred Angus
lots to the mix. We have always bred Angus to our Simmental base herd, so it is nothing foreign
to us. We think the two breeds compliment each other best.
We run in the arid Western states of Idaho and Utah where rain is sometimes questionable. Our
mother cows are expected to stay fat, wean a big calf, with no other inputs than grass. There are
three things we demand: sound footed and structurally correct cattle; appealing phenotype
(because who the hell likes to look at ugly cattle); and docility.
We are extremely proud that this entire offering was born and raised on our farm. Some of our
cow families are generations deep. We ask that if you have questions on ANY calf, please call
any one of us listed.
Calves have been fully vaccinated and poured, brucellosis vaccinated, and are ready for their
