Welcome statement
Welcome to the October Edition of Halbach Cattle’s Heart of the Brand Sale!
What started as our fall heifer sale, primarily focused on Maine-Anjou-influenced show heifers, has evolved into an offering that now includes some outstanding steer prospects as well. As you page through this offering, you’ll notice there is no sale order. That is intentional. We believe there are cattle from top to bottom capable of being competitive in their respective divisions, and we are proud of the depth and quality represented throughout.
This year, we are especially excited to introduce progeny from several new cows that have never before been represented in this sale, along with new matings on some of our proven donors. We truly believe this is the deepest and most diverse offering we have assembled to date.
Heart of the Brand has become the highlight of our year. It gives us the opportunity to showcase the direction we are taking our program and the genetics we believe in. We take tremendous pride in the growing number of cattle in this sale that carry our own prefix, along with the significant influence of females we have sold or had a hand in developing over the years. Watching those females go into production and seeing the success they have brought to other programs has been one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. We are humbled by the confidence others have placed in our genetics and even more excited about what the future holds.
To those considering purchasing a female, we want you to know that our commitment doesn't end when the sale is over. As these females enter production, we are always willing to offer mating suggestions, marketing assistance, and any guidance we can provide along the way. This industry is challenging and constantly evolving, and we firmly believe that two heads are better than one. Your success is something we take personally, and we want to be a resource long after your purchase. With this being said ask us about our Semen "Vault". We have a large inventory of rare and hard to find semen and are always willing to split straws and work with our customers in production down the road on these females.
We invite everyone to come visit us in Woolstock, Iowa, study the cattle in person, and reach out with any questions. We will always do our best to represent these cattle honestly and to the best of our knowledge.
Thank you to everyone who has supported our program, believed in our genetics, and helped make Heart of the Brand what it is today. We look forward to seeing what this year's offering can accomplish.
