We're proud to offer this set of home raised calves to you today. Every one of them was born here, raised here, and worked with here — which means we can represent them to you as honestly as anybody can. If we know something about a calf, good or bad, we're going to tell you. You'll see that in these write-ups. We believe in cow power around here, and it doesn't take long looking through these pedigrees to see it — when we find a cow that clicks, we roll with her. Stacking good genetics one on top of the next is the surest way we know to predict what a calf is going to do for you down the road, and that's how this whole herd has been built. We've been fortunate to raise some good ones over the years, the biggest being the Grand Champion Market Steer at the 2020 National Western Stock Show, along with multiple other champions at the regional and national level.
Every calf in this sale is weaned, fully vaccinated, broke to tie, and handled every single day. These are not calves running in the pasture with their mothers — they're ready to load up and go to work for a new owner. They're also used to kids. Our ten-year-old son is out here daily washing, drying and feeding, and our two-and-a-half-year-old daughter is right behind him, climbing the gates and hollering the whole time. These calves have seen it all, so don't be afraid to bring one home and turn your kid loose with it. This is a family operation and you'll see it in the cattle the day they come off your trailer.
The cattle are available to look at any time between now and sale day, and we'll have an open house September 19th and 20th. Call or text with any questions you have — the worst thing that happens is you learn a little more about a good calf. We can also help line up trucking anywhere in the country. We've got good contacts and we can get your purchase home just about anywhere with a little time, money and patience, and it moves a lot faster when calves are paid for promptly so there's no holdup getting them on a ride.
